For over 40 years The Ekus Group has been the go-to agency for all things culinary!
The Ekus Group was founded as a culinary book PR firm in April 1982 by Lisa Ekus, and transitioned into full-service agenting in 2000. Lisa Ekus got her start in publishing working for JVNLA founder Jean Naggar, who established her eponymous agency in 1978. In 2024, The Ekus Group joined JVNLA as a boutique culinary division of the agency, specializing in cookbook and lifestyle titles.
The Ekus Group is spearheaded by Sally Ekus, who represents a wide range of culinary, health, wellness, and lifestyle talent, from first-time cookbook authors to chefs, restaurant owners, professional food writers, bloggers, online creators, and journalists, plus books about caregiving, parenting, and other select non-fiction genres. Sally Ekus is assisted by Literary Associate Ty Billman.
